On April 15, 2021, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology and the Center for Youth and Sports Affairs held a joint online conference with the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the DP of the Mayor's Office of Nur-Sultan, as well as the State Enterprise on the PHV "City Center for Mental Health" the conference was on the topic "Treatment and prevention of new types of synthetic drug addictions" for first-year students of the NAO "MUA".

The conference was opened by the assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the NAO "MUA", psychiatrist-narcologist of the State Clinical Hospital Koishibekov T. T.

Senior operative officer of the Department of Prevention of the DEA DP, Police Major Aliya Kibatkyzy, made a report on the ongoing preventive and operational work to combat drug trafficking and drug trafficking, the peculiarities of the drug situation in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the conference, three reports were presented:

The students took the reports with interest, and all the questions asked by the students were fully answered by the speakers. The event was held as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the prevention of drug addiction among students of the NAO "Astana Medical University".
