On October 27, 2021, a meeting of the management of the NAO "Astana Medical University" was held in the person of Acting Rector Dauletyarova Marzhan Amangalievna and Professor Egamov Yuldashali Sulaimanovich, Head of the Department of Surgical Diseases and Civil Defense of the Andijan State Medical Institute, Republic of Uzbekistan.

The initiator of this meeting was the Department of Surgical Diseases, Bariatric Surgery and Neurosurgery, headed by Professor Fursov A.B.

As part of the development of international cooperation, the departments agreed on the academic exchange of teaching staff and researchers in order to improve educational and research activities, as well as on the academic exchange of students at the internship and residency level.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Universities and expressed hope for further fruitful and close cooperation.
