The Military Department of the NAO "Astana Medical University "is recruiting 2nd-year students for additional education in the military accounting specialty "Medical care in ground troops".

The goals of our department are to train medical service officers for the Armed Forces and to create a mobilization reserve for the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Military medicine is currently a system of scientific knowledge and a field of practical activity that is aimed at preserving and strengthening the health of the personnel of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, preventing diseases and combat defeats of military personnel, as well as successful treatment of the wounded and sick.

The main disciplines at the department are the organization and tactics of the medical service, military toxicology, radiobiology and medical protection, the basics of general tactics of motorized rifle units, in the study of which each student will be well versed in the features of military operations, combat pathology, firmly know and skillfully implement the basic principles of conducting combined-arms combat, organizing and conducting medical evacuation, sanitary and hygienic and anti-epidemic measures, both in wartime and peacetime.

Upon completion of the training, students will be awarded the first military rank "lieutenant of the reserve medical service"by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Those who wish to devote themselves to the service of the Fatherland can be called up for active military service in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, they will be subject to all the provisions of the current legislation of the state and the requirements of the governing documents of law enforcement agencies in the field of defense, the use of the Armed Forces, the order and rules of military service, as well as social protection of military personnel.

At the same time, the most important thing is that military service is a special type of Public service. Military personnel in the performance of military service duties are under the protection of the State.

Medical service officers have the right to:

• to provide service housing and provide the opportunity to purchase housing under various programs of Otbasa Bank;
• to receive a guaranteed monetary allowance (i.e., salary according to the position held, military rank, class allowances, work with secret documents, physical fitness, climatic conditions, etc.), which is several times higher than the salary in the health and education system;
• to receive compensation for the performance of combat missions, the possibility of participating in peacekeeping operations outside the country;
• for the provision of personal belongings, that is, summer and winter military uniforms (dress, parade and weekend, everyday, field and work);
• for free guaranteed medical care;
• for spa treatment in the presence of medical indications;
• for annual basic leave of at least 30 (thirty) days, not counting the days en route to the place of vacation and back, as well as additional leave of up to 12 (twelve) days;
• for free postgraduate education in the country, near and far abroad;
• for travel at the expense of the state on rail, air, water and road transport when moving in the service, as well as the transportation of their own property;
• to receive a lifting allowance when moving through the service in the amount of 2 months ' salary for the serviceman himself and half a month's salary for each family member who moved with him.
