On April 11-12, 2022, the 64th International Scientific and Practical conference of students and young scientists «Medical Science, Education, practice: problems and solutions» is planned to be held at Astana Medical University.

Conference Format – offline (under the condition that the epidemiologic situation will be stable). Otherwise, the conference will be held online via communication platforms.

Schoolchildren, students, interns, residents, Master 's and doctoral students of medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and CIS countries, as well as from countries near and far abroad, are invited to participate in the conference.

FORMS OF PARTICIPATION:

·        Publication of abstracts + oral report (duration: 5-7 minutes, 2-3 minutes for debates);

·        Oral report only;

·        Only publication of abstracts

ü Bachelor's students (1-5 years of study) and schoolchildren will be performing on April 11.

ü Interns, residents, Master 's and doctoral students, and other young scientists will be performing on April 12.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS:

Materials of own research, which are carefully verified and edited, are accepted for publication. The thesis is accepted under the condition of a detailed report at the conference of the conducted research. The text document is provided in Microsoft Word format, on 1-2 pages A4 sized, font 12, Times New Roman, single spacing, margins - left and right 2.0, top and bottom - 1.5.

HOW TO ISSUE A THESIS

-Full name of the authors (bold, surname and initials)

-Name of the work (uppercase, bold, without quotes)

-Full name of the supervisor (italics, degree, position)

-Department, University (organization), city (italics)

-The text of the thesis

The file name is given by the surname of the first author: If there are several works submitted from the same author, then the file name will be «FULL NAME1», «FULL NAME 2» (for example, Aliyeva A.A¹, Aliyeva A.A²).

The abstracts should consist of the following sections:

·        Relevance

·        The aim of the work

·        Materials and methods of research

·        Research results

·        Conclusions

The abstracts, that do not meet the requirements, are not accepted!!!

The abstracts of the conference are published free of charge, participation in the conference in any format is also free.

Requirements for an oral report at the conference:

1.     The text of the report should be in Word, and the presentation - in PowerPoint.

2.     The report should be accompanied by a presentation (PowerPoint 2003-2016).

3.     The duration of an oral presentation (report) should not exceed 15 minutes, discussion - 15 minutes.

4.     A photo of the speaker in *.jpeg format might be attached to the report.

5.     The speaker provides a report in a presentation (PowerPoint 2003-2016) to the conference’s organizers 1 day before the conference.

6.     Due to different laptop’s software, please, save your presentations in two formats: *.ppt and *.pptx

7.     Presentation requirements: The presentation must be made according to generally accepted rules (light slide + dark letters). On the first slide: the name of the university, then - the title of a Chair, the title of the work; the full name of the speaker; the name of the supervisor; city and year, and etc.

8.     The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select reports.

9.     The authors of the work are responsible for the content of the works.

The electronic version of the conference proceedings will be posted on the University's website for free access.

Following the results of the conference, participants will receive diplomas, relevant certificates, as well as a collection of abstracts (conference proceedings) in electronic form.
