NJSC "Astana Medical University" invites you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "MODERN PHARMACY: NEW APPROACHES IN EDUCATION AND CURRENT RESEARCH” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Partner universities of NJSC "MUA,” representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign scientists and specialists, delegations of regional and urban healthcare, employees and students of medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan are invited to participate in the conference.

Event organizer: NJSC "Astana Medical University,” Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines.

Date and venue of the conference: May 5, 2022, Nur-Sultan, 49A Beibitshilik str., conference hall.

Conference directions:

1. Problems and prospects of pharmaceutical education and science development;

2. Actual problems of pharmaceutical activity economics management;

3. Development of new drugs of synthetic and natural origin;

4. Quality control, standardization, and certification of medicines;

5. Topical issues of biomedical sciences, pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, forensic and clinical toxicology.

Forms and conditions of participation in the conference:

- offline (presentation and publication of the article/ abstract);

- online (presentation and publication of articles/abstract;

- distance (only publication of the article/ abstract).

Conference language: Kazakh, Russian, English;

Applications for publishing articles/ abstracts are submitted until April 25, 2022 (inclusive). Articles/abstracts should be submitted in an electronic version saved in *doc format. One file should contain one article.

The file names must correspond to the first author in English (FULL NAME.doc). If two articles of the same author are submitted, the files are numbered in Arabic numerals (FULL NAME.1.doc).

A message about the receipt of the article/abstract will be sent to the email address you gave.

Travel is carried out at the expense of the conference participants.

The Organizing Committee may reject materials in case of inconsistency with the conference topic.

Materials that are not followed by the requirements or submitted later than the specified dates will not be accepted.

No more than two articles are accepted from one author.

Requirements for the design of articles/ abstracts and presentations

According to the international rules of publication ethics, manuscripts are checked and evaluated for anti-plagiarism, duplication, or borrowing of previously published texts, including the author(s), which is not allowed. The subsequent re-publication of articles/abstracts in other journals and sources is not permitted. Such articles/abstracts will be retracted (withdrawn from databases), and sanctions will be applied to authors found to have violated ethics standards, up to blocking their names, which will negatively affect their scientific reputation and make our further cooperation impossible.

Please observe the rules of publication ethics of the collection and make references to all sources avoiding borrowings and duplications.

Materials of the research that carefully verified and edited are accepted for publication.

Instructions for the design of articles:

1. UDC;

2. Format - Microsoft Word, on A4 pages;

3. Times New Roman font, font size 12;

4. Margins - top, right and bottom - 2.0 cm, left - 2.2 cm, interval - single;

5. Indent in the first line of the paragraph 1.25 cm;

6. For a thesis 1 page, for scientific articles from 3 to 5 pages;

7. In-text footnotes are given in square brackets, the number of the source in the list of references is indicated, and after the comma – the page number, for example: [5, p. 256].

Requirements for an oral report at the conference

1. The presentation should be compiled in the MS PowerPoint program (Power Point 2003-2016);

2. The duration of the oral presentation should not exceed 7 minutes, the discussion - 3 minutes;

3. The speaker must send the presentation to the conference organizers by April 25, 2022, as it will be translated. Please send to: sholpanakhelova@gmail.com;

4. Due to different laptop software, please save your presentations in two extensions, *.ppt and *.pptx;

5. Presentation requirements: The presentation should be made according to generally accepted rules (light slide + dark letters). On the first slide: the name of the university, then the name of the department or place of work for medical practitioners, the term of the work; the full name of the speaker; the name of the supervisor; city and year, etc.
