"Astana Medical University" has passed the international primary/specialized accreditation. The accreditation consisted of 9 educational programs.

The Accreditation Council decided that the educational programs of the NAO "Astana Medical University" meet the necessary requirements for obtaining international accreditation:

1. 6B10107 General medicine for 5 years;

2. 6B10108 Dentistry for 5 years;

3. 7R01106 Oncology and hematology for children for 5 years;

4. 7R01133 Medical genetics for 5 years;

5. 7R01122 Plastic surgery for adults, children for 5 years;

6. 7R01136 General surgery for 5 years;

7. 7R01107 Pulmonology adult, children for 5 years;

8. 7M05101 Biology for 5 years;

9. 7M10101 Nursing for 5 years

In the period from May 24 to May 26, 2022, a visit (hybrid format) of the external expert commission of the "Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency" (IAAR) took place on the basis of the NAO "Astana Medical University".

The composition of the external expert commission consisted of representatives of domestic and foreign medical universities.
