Atlas – pathological anatomy of Asian cholera – 1849

In the window you can see a rare edition of ATLAS (pathological anatomy Asian cholera – 1849), edited by Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov, donated to the museum by the Department of Pathanatomy. Very colorful and informative it reflects the morphological changes occurring in the intestinal mucosa in Asian cholera. The atlas was transferred to the department when the medical school was disbanded.
