Formation story
In 2009, the University management decided to open a sector of clinical work and innovative technologies at the Faculty of Continuing Professional Development and Additional Education. The staff of the sector consisted of two people: the head of the sector, to whose position Kosumov A.K. was appointed, and the methodologist Abdrakhmanov D.A. The main tasks of the sector were the organization of distance learning and the creation of an Advisory Telemedicine Council for the purpose of conducting video consultations of patients.
In 2011, the sector was reorganized into the Department of Clinical Work and Evidence-based Medicine.
In September 2019, in connection with the re-organization, it was renamed the department for monitoring clinical activities and interaction with clinical databases.
In 2021, the department was reorganized into the center for the development of clinical activities
In 2023, the department was reorganized into the center for practice and development of clinical activities with the transfer of functions for the organization of educational and industrial practice in bachelor's degree programs
Goals
Organization and coordination of the development of clinical activities at the departments of the University.
Activity
1) coordination of clinical activities of University departments;
2) organization, planning, regulation and analysis of the Center's work;
3) determining the directions of research activities (hereinafter - NID) within the framework of the clinical work of departments and coordinating the implementation of the results of NID in practical healthcare;
4) interaction with medical organizations in Astana on the expansion of the University's clinical bases;
5) development and monitoring of the implementation of the strategy for the development of clinical activities of University departments;
4) coordination, monitoring, control, organization of joint work with stakeholders on the development of documentation during the construction of the University Clinic;
5) monitoring the implementation of the implementation of the ENS in clinical departments, promoting the expansion of the share of teaching staff working in the ENS;
6) rating of clinical work of departments and teaching staff (hereinafter referred to as teaching staff) University;
7) assistance in providing specialized medical care to the population of the regions by organizing video consultations, telemedicine sessions, departures/departures through the air ambulance of specialists from clinical departments;
8) organizing and informing University teaching staff to participate in scientific and practical conferences, round tables, conference calls on the organization of medical care;
9) methodological support of the work of teaching staff as part of expert commissions, working groups on the development of clinical protocols, roadmaps, operational plans of the Ministry of Health, forensic medical examinations, examination of medical documentation, medical records, in case of death in obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics, etc.;
11) monitoring the participation of teaching staff of clinical departments in professional associations;
12) study of international experience and search for new directions in the work of clinical departments.
