Formation story
The Strategic Development Office was formed in July, 2019, according to the organizational structure approved by the decision of the Board of Directors of the University No. 9 dated July 24, 2019.
Main tasks
-
organizing the work on the preparation, development and implementation of a development strategy, as well as other strategic documents that determine the development and functioning of key areas of the University’s activities;
-
monitoring and analyzing the achievement of the target indicators of the Development Strategy;
-
informational and analytical support for the implementation of the Development Strategy and key performance indicators;
-
improving the University’s strategic development system;
-
coordinating the work on the collection and processing of information necessary for participation in national and international ratings;
- promoting the sustainable development of the University.
Activity
-
defining and developing the University’s Development Strategy, monitoring and preparing a report on its implementation, as well as carrying out work on its adjustment;
-
interaction with structural divisions and collegial bodies of the University on strategic issues;
-
participation in the development and preparation for approval of the KPI maps of the members of the University’s Board and structural units, preparation of a report on the KPI;
-
developing, preparing for approval of the University’s Operational Plan, monitoring and preparing a report on its implementation;
-
monitoring the dynamics of Kazakhstani universities and universities of the CIS countries in national and world rankings;
-
collecting and analyzing information about the University’s activities for submission to national and foreign rating organizations upon their requests;
-
monitoring the implementation of the University’s strategic projects.
