The process of admission to the Residency

STAGE I ENTRANCE EXAM

From July 3 to July 25 of the calendar year, the admission committee accepts documents for admission to the residency for participation in the entrance exam:

1) application addressed to the Chairman of the Board – Rector for participation in the competition for admission to the residency;
2) a document on higher education (when submitting documents to the admissions committee), a copy (when submitting through the information system) with the qualification "doctor". Persons who have received medical education abroad provide a document on the recognition of their education and (or) on the assignment of the qualification "doctor". When enrolling, the original document of higher education and (or) a document on the recognition of education, the assignment of the qualification "doctor" are submitted to the admissions committee;

3) a transcript indicating the GPA for the entire period of study (1-7 courses);

4) a copy of the certificate of completion of the internship (if any);

5) certificate or information about the certificate of a healthcare specialist (a copy for documents issued by a foreign state);

6) the test results of the independent examination conducted by the NCNE (for persons who completed the internship in 2013-2018) or the results of the first and second stages of the independent examination conducted by the NCNE (for persons who completed the internship starting in 2019);

7) a copy of the identity card;

8) medical certificate in form 075/u, approved by Order no. KR DSM-175/2020/fluorography;

9) marriage certificate (if available)(a copy, an electronic document from the digital documents service for registration in the AIS Platonus);

10) a copy of the work record (for persons with work experience, original, copy, electronic document from the digital documents service for registration in the AIS Platonus);

11) scientific publications, including in rating scientific publications (if available);

12) certificates of awarding scientific scholarships, grants (if available);

13) certificates of scientific developments (if available);

14) certificates and (or) diplomas for participation in scientific conferences and competitions (if available);

15) six photos measuring 3x4 centimeters (cut and folded into an envelope);

16) cardboard folder folder, 3 files;

17) A4 envelope;

18) receipt.

When submitting documents to the admissions committee together with copies of the documents listed in the paragraphs 4),7),9),10) provided in originals for verification carried out in the presence of the incoming after verification, the original documents are returned.

Before submitting documents to the technical secretary of the admissions committee, applicants must complete the registration procedure in the AIS Platonus.

If an incomplete list of documents is provided, the admissions committee does not accept documents from applicants.

Applications are accepted for one educational residency program.

Persons entering the residency pass an entrance exam according to the profile of a group of educational programs. At the same time, the applicant passes the entrance exam only in the OVPO that he enters.

Entrance exams to the residency are held from August 8 to August 16 (according to the schedule).

Persons entering the residency who do not agree with the results of the entrance exams submit an application for appeal addressed to the chairman of the appeals commission before 13.00 the next day after the announcement of the results of the entrance exam.

STAGE II - ADMISSION TO STUDY UNDER THE STATE EDUCATIONAL ORDER

Persons who have scored 75 points or higher according to the results of the entrance exam and competitive selection can take part in the selection competition for training under the state educational order.

Admission of persons to the University residency is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of entrance examinations for the educational program, the previous level of GPA (average score of all grades) for the entire period of study (from 1st to 7th year) and the results of the final state certification (hereinafter – IGA) of the internship.

In the case of identical indicators of competitive points, persons with medical experience receive the preferential right. Then scientific achievements corresponding to the profile of the educational program are taken into account:

- scientific publications, including in rating scientific publications;

- certificates of scientific developments;

- certificates of awarding scientific scholarships, grants;

- certificates and (or) diplomas for participation in scientific conferences and competitions.

Admission to training under the state educational order at the expense of the local budget.

To participate in the competition under the state educational order at the expense of the local budget, applicants submit until August 25 of the calendar year:

1) application;

2) document on higher education (original);

3) an extract of the entrance exam with the indication of points;

4) a copy of the work record (if available);

5) a copy of the identity document.

All the above documents are transferred to the Education Department/Department of Health of Akimats of regions/cities of republican significance for participation in the competition at the expense of the local budget.

The competition for the state educational order at the expense of the local budget is held in accordance with the scores of the entrance exam.

STAGE III - ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY

Admission to the residency is made by order of the Chairman of the Board-rector or by a person acting as his/her duties until August 28 of the calendar year.

Enrollment of persons in the residency on a paid basis is carried out based on the results of the entrance exam according to the profile of the group of educational programs and those who have scored at least 75 points out of a possible 100 points.

Persons who have scored the highest scores on the entrance exam, but not less than 75 points, are enrolled for training under the state educational order on a competitive basis.

Applicants (persons) who have passed the competition for training under the state educational order at the expense of the republican or local budget, as well as applicants (persons) who want to study on a paid basis, submit to the admissions committee from August 19 to 11 o'clock on August 28:

- application for enrollment;

- a standard agreement on training in the educational program of the residency;

- receipts for tuition fees (incoming on a contractual basis), as well as the entire list of documents submitted to the admissions committee for the entrance exams
