STAGE I – REGISTRATION AND PASSING OF THE UNT

The applicant for registration in the database of UNT participants submits an application online through the website of the National Testing Center at the following link: https://app.testcenter.kz /.

Persons wishing to enroll in the field of education "Healthcare" pass the UNT in the following subjects: history of Kazakhstan, mathematical literacy, reading literacy, chemistry, biology.

STAGE II – PASSING THE PSYCHOMETRIC EXAM

Admission of students according to educational programs:

- Nursing (Kinesitherapy, Occupational Therapy),

- Medicine,

- Dentistry,

- Pediatrics,

- Medical and preventive work is carried out taking into account the results of a special exam in the form of a Psychometric exam, which can be taken at any medical university of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Psychometric testing is evaluated in the form of "ADMISSION" or "NON–ADMISSION".

The results of psychometric testing are announced on the day of the event.

According to the results of psychometric testing, the applicant is issued an extract from the admission statement for presentation to medical universities, regardless of the place of passing a special exam.

To pass the psychometric exam, the applicant submits the following documents to the admission committee of the NAO "Astana Medical University":

1) a document on general secondary or technical and vocational, post-secondary education (original);

2) two photos measuring 3 x 4 centimeters;

3) a copy of the identity document;

4) UNT certificate (if available);

5) a copy of the document confirming the presence of one of the sports categories and (or) sports titles established by paragraph 1 of Article 35 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2014 "On Physical Culture and Sports" (if any).

STAGE III – PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION FOR TRAINING ON A PAID BASIS

To participate in the competition for paid training, persons with secondary, technical and vocational or post-secondary education, who have passed the UNT and scored at least 70 points according to its results are allowed. At the same time, it is necessary to score at least 5 points for each subject of the UNT.

To participate in the competition for a paid department, an applicant submits to the university admissions committee an application and a package of documents specified in the Standard Rules for Admission to study in educational organizations implementing educational programs of higher and postgraduate education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018 No. 600.

STAGE IV – ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY

Enrollment of incoming students to the University on a fee basis is carried out by the University's admission committee from August 10 to 25 of the calendar year for studying in Kazakh, Russian or English.

List of documents for enrollment

1) an application addressed to the Rector of the University in the prescribed form;

2) a document on general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary or higher education (certificate/diploma) (original);

3) identity document (original and 2 copies);

4) UNT certificate (in printed form from the NTC website);

5) 6 photo cards measuring 3 x 4 centimeters (cut and sign the full name and specialty);

6) medical certificate on form 075/u, (original + copy), fluorography snapshot, copy of form 063-U (vaccination card copy);

7) extract from the statement on passing the psychometric exam (for applicants in the educational programs "Medicine", "Nursing", "Kinesitherapy", "Occupational Therapy", "Dentistry", "Preventive medicine") (in printed form);

8) A copy of the certificate confirming the level of English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Intermediate, B-1, TOEFL 567 and higher). (if available);

9) a document confirming the pre-emptive right:

- holders of altyn beli, certificate with honors, diploma with honors, badge of distinction for patriotism and active citizenship,

- winners of international Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects (scientific competitions) in general education subjects (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree), international and republican competitions of performers and sports competitions (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree) of the last three years, the list of which is determined by the authorized body in the field of education, as well as the winners of the presidential, republican olympiads and competitions of scientific projects in general education subjects (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree) of the current academic year, provided that their chosen specialty corresponds to the subject of the Olympiad, competition or sports competition,

- persons with documents on technical and vocational, post-secondary education, who have confirmed their qualifications and have at least one year of work experience in the specialty, additionally submit one of the documents provided for in article 35 of the Labor Code Republic of Kazakhstan;

- citizens from among persons with disabilities of the first or second group, persons with disabilities since childhood, children with disabilities who, according to a medical opinion, are not contraindicated to study in relevant educational organizations;

- veterans of military operations on the territory of other states, veterans equated by benefits to veterans of the Great Patriotic War;

- citizens from among rural youth for training in educational programs that determine the socio-economic development of the village;

- persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- orphans and children left without parental care, as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among young people who have lost or remained without parental care until adulthood;

- citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among rural youth moving to the regions determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- children from families with four or more minor children;

- children from single-parent families who have this status for at least three years;

- children from families raising children with disabilities since childhood, persons with disabilities of the first or second group.
