Goal:
To provide free and accessible assistance to people in need of medical care. Volunteer medics aim to support medical services, save lives, and improve community health.
Objectives:
1. Providing Medical Assistance: Volunteer medics provide first aid in disaster areas, low-income communities, refugee camps, or conflict zones. They offer emergency assistance to injured and sick individuals and help with hospital transport if necessary.
2. Teaching First Aid: Volunteer medics teach basic first aid skills to local residents, school students, and community organizations. This helps maintain general public health and increases preparedness for emergencies.
3. Preventive Measures: Volunteer medics promote disease prevention to help stop the spread of infectious diseases. This includes advice on prevention, vaccination, hygiene, proper nutrition, and health care.
4. Supporting Public Health: Volunteer medics participate in various health programs and activities to improve community health.
5. Providing Psychological Support: Supporting the psychological state of people affected by emergencies is essential. Volunteer medics also provide psychological support, contributing to patients’ overall recovery.
