History of creation

The structural subdivision began its activity on September 1, 2015 as the Corporate Communications Department. On August 10, 2018, by decision of the Board, it was renamed the Media Press Center, then on December 15, 2020 - the Press Office.

Objectives

Achieving a positive attitude of the public towards the University through the formation of its modern image by posting information in the information resources of the University, in the city and republican mass media, as well as on the Internet.

Activities

• Development and implementation of complex PR-campaigns in accordance with the objectives of the University Development Strategy;

• Distribution of press releases, statements and messages on behalf of the University administration and other information materials in the media and monitoring the release of these publications;

• Placement of advertising and information materials about the University on television and radio, as well as in Internet information resources;

• Assistance to the media in the preparation of publications and stories (consultative, informational and organizational assistance to the media, including the preparation of prompt responses to written and oral requests from the media, the provision of photo and video materials, speakers for interviews upon request of the media);

• Organization and holding of press conferences, briefings and other events for the media;

• Regular support and updating of the information content of the corporate website and corporate pages in social networks;

• Creation of video content and its distribution through various channels, including the official website of the University, pages in social networks. Formation and maintenance of video archive;

• Providing photography of significant events of the University, the formation and maintenance of a photo archive;

• Introduction of new forms and channels of communication;

• Preparation of informational notes for the administration of the University;

• Preparation of speeches for the management of the University within the powers of the Press Office;

• Organization of work on the creation of the corporate identity of the University, the development of image, information and printing products;

• Joint participation with structural divisions of the University in scientific and educational conferences, seminars, master classes, round tables of the republican and international level.
