On March 31, 2023, the scientific-practical conference «Анатомия әлемі» was held at the NJSC "Astana Medical University".
The conference is the completion of a long time project for the manufacture of anatomical preparations by university students at the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov. This project is aimed at increasing the practical training of future doctors with mastering the skills of dissecting and preserving anatomical preparations in order to increase interest in the study of anatomy and expand the fund of visual material of the anatomical museum of the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov.
Within the framework of the «Анатомия әлемі» project, about 300 students took part in the manufacture of wet museum preparations, bone preparations and the restoration of anatomical preparations, more than 100 preparations were made. Our students showed great interest, perseverance and creativity in the manufacturing of preparations, acquired the skills of independent work and teamwork, improved their knowledge of anatomy in the process of preparing and describing the preparations. The joint work of students with teachers contributed to building trust and mutual understanding between students and staff.
As part of the implementation of the «Анатомия әлемі» project, in order to consolidate the skills of making wet museum preparations, at the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov, a week-long full-time master class on academic mobility was held by our colleague from WKMU named after M. Ospanov, senior lecturer of the Department of Normal and Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery Zhumabay Nurkanat on methods of preserving anatomical preparations, in which teachers and students took an active part.
The Vice-Rector for Clinical Work Gazalieva M.A. and Vice-Rector for Financial, Economic and Organizational Work Maradzhapov B.I. took an active part in the work of the conference, as part of the commission, they carefully studied and assessed all the work of our students. The best works were awarded diplomas and certificates from the administration of the university and the department. The conference was interesting and productive, students and teachers received a lot of bright positive impressions.
