On 19.05.2023 and 20.05.2023 in Astana, the NAO "Astana Medical University" together with the public association "Society of Endocrinologists of Astana" held the IV International Conference "Topical issues of endocrinology. Innovations and experience in clinical examples"

The relevance of this conference is due to the growing number of patients with impaired endocrine function. At the same time, the most socially significant diseases of the endocrine system include diabetes mellitus, obesity, diseases of the thyroid gland and adrenal glands, diseases associated with impaired function of the reproductive system. Thus, the total number of patients with diabetes mellitus in the Republic of Kazakhstan has actually increased by 2 times over the past 10 years and is already more than 400,000 people. At the same time, according to international experts, the number of patients with diabetes in Kazakhstan by 2030 may exceed 800 thousand. The number of patients with thyroid pathology and complex diseases of the adrenal glands and pituitary gland is growing. In this regard, it is extremely relevant to hold scientific forums on endocrinology.

The conference with the participation of scientists and doctors from Kazakhstan, Russia and Sweden discusses topical issues of modern endocrinology, including the management of complex patients with diabetes mellitus, obesity, pituitary gland, adrenal gland diseases, growth disorders, development, sexual function, innovative methods of diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. The conference program also includes reports of young scientists and doctors of Kazakhstan based on clinical examples from their own practice. Along with endocrinologists, cardiologists, gynaecologists, urologists, general practitioners, and health care organizers participate in the conference.
