THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE START DATE OF ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM 1ST YEAR STUDENTS WILL BE POSTED ON THE UNIVERSITY'S WEBSITE
Applications for accommodation in the hostel are submitted through the AIS Platonus:
1. Visit the website https://pl.amu.kz /.
2. Enter your personal username and password.
3. Go to the "Hostel" section, select the "Application submission" button, then click "Create", fill in all the necessary fields.
4. BE SURE to specify the benefit from the drop-down list and upload supporting documents according to the list.
5. Click the "Apply" button.
Rooms in the hostel are distributed on a competitive basis by a specially created commission.
Documents that do not meet the requirements for settling into a hostel will be rejected by the commission.
FIRST OF ALL, STUDENTS FROM SOCIALLY VULNERABLE STRATA OF SOCIETY ARE PROVIDED WITH ROOMS IN THE UNIVERSITY DORMITORY:
1) orphans, children left without parental care, from among the graduates of orphanages;
2) disabled children of groups I and II or close relatives (father, mother);
3) children from single-parent families due to the loss of a breadwinner or because of the dissolution of marriage;
4) children whose parents are related to the Semipalatinsk test site, Baikonur, the Aral region, the Chernobyl explosion and to harmful production that harms human health;
5) children from large families (4 or more children of preschool, school age);
6) children whose parents were participants in hostilities as part of a contingent of international troops;
7) members of the Student Council of Dormitories by the decision of the student government;
8) University activists at the discretion of the settlement commission, based on the petition of the Center for Youth and Sports;
9) Candace (people of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan), including foreign students from far and near abroad.
THE LIST OF STUDENTS SETTLED IN THE DORMITORY WILL BE POSTED ON THE UNIVERSITY'S WEBSITE IN THE "NEWS" SECTION.
After you find your name, you will need to come to the address: 49a Beibitshilik str from August 22, 2023.
You need to bring with you:
1. Electronic version of a color photo (full-face) with a size of 3*4 in jpg format;
2. file folder (on the cover of the folder should be written student's full name).
In the file folder in each file sequentially attach documents according to the list:

7. For orphans - a certificate from an orphanage or a certificate of the death of parents or a certificate of guardianship (notarized copies);
8. For students with disabilities of groups I and II or close relatives (father, mother) – medical certificate of disability or certificate (certification) of disability (notarized copies);
9. For students from single–parent families - a certificate of divorce or a death certificate (notarized copy);
10. For students from large families – copies of parents' identity cards and birth certificates of minor family members, parents' marriage certificate (notarized copies);
11. For students whose parents are related to the Semipalatinsk test site, Baikonur, Chernobyl explosion and harmful production, harmful to health, provide supporting documents;
12. For students – people of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Candace) – a document confirming the status of Candace.
