Chairman of the Board – Rector of Astana Medical University Kamalzhan Nadyrov took part in the opening of the master class "Correction of malformations of the urinary and genitourinary systems in children", which started on the basis of the multidisciplinary City Children's Hospital №2.

     The master class is organized with the support of Astana Medical University, it is conducted by doctors invited from Turkey from the Geztepe Educational and Research Hospital of Istanbul Medeniyet University - Şeyhmus Kerem Özel, Professor, PhD, member of the European Society of Pediatric Urology, the European Association of Pediatric Surgery and Arzu Canmemiş, a pediatric urologist. Within three days, they will perform 7 operations together with hospital specialists.

      As we were informed in MGDB № 2, doctors annually perform more than 13 thousand operations in various areas, including urology, neurosurgery, traumatology, orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery. Parents of young patients thank the hospital staff for the newly found opportunity for children to develop fully.

       "MGDB № 2 is a full–fledged educational clinical base of our university and it is important for us that teachers - practicing doctors have the opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues from abroad," Kamalzhan Nadyrov stressed. A wide range of events in the form of such master classes, training seminars, training modules, internships significantly improves the qualifications of both the chairs and our residents. The latter, along with theory, have the opportunity to see and guide a patient with various pathologies, to develop skills in multidisciplinary teams, in treatment rooms of different departments and in operating rooms. All this together undoubtedly affects the improvement of the entire educational process, the Rector noted.
