The Chairman of the Board - Rector Kamalzhan Nadyrov made a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony of the research Institute. He noted Zhangali Khamzabaevich's great contribution to the development of the radiology diagnostics service in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Its director Raushan Rakhimzhanova told about the history of the creation of the research institute, its goals, development prospects and future plans during the ceremony.
The Institute will train qualified radiologists, introduce innovative technologies and provide high-quality diagnostic assistance to the population, as well as integrate research and educational activities.

Professor Rubtsova A.V. (Moscow, Russia) read out the welcoming words of gratitude of Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences - A.D. Kaprin - General Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMIC of Radiology" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Director of the P.A. Herzen Institute of Medical Research (Russia).

Dileep Kumar (Director of Global Scientific Collaborations UIH, China) spoke about international scientific cooperation in his greeting. Professor of Astana Medical University, Academician Rice Tulebayev shared warm memories of cooperation and friendship with Zhangali Khamzabaevich, emphasized his numerous achievements and noted his contribution to the development and establishment of radiological service in Kazakhstan.

The museum of academician Zh.Khamzabayev has been opened within the walls of the Research Institute of Radiology, which contains historical documents about his life and work, the history of the creation and ways to improve the work of the Society of Radiologists of Kazakhstan.
