An employee of Astana Medical University became the Champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Presidential Tests.

     Birlik Nursultan, assistant of the Department of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, rehabilitation doctor became the absolute champion among men in the age group of 24-31 years.

     The championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Presidential tests in closed premises passed on days in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Besides our athletes, representatives of 14 teams took part in it, the total number of participants amounted to 160 people. Presidential tests are held in Kazakhstan for many years and their main goal is the health of the nation.

      Presidential tests are a set of exercises (tests) that determine the general level of physical fitness of the population by means of control standards. Presidential tests are the basis of normative requirements for physical fitness of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      The list of presidential tests includes running (30, 60, 100, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 meters), standing long-jump, chin-up on high bar, body lift, shooting, ski race, throwing a ball, etc.

      Birlik Nursultan took 1st place in running at a distance of 60 meters, 2nd place in standing long-jump, 1st place in chin-up on high bar, honorable 1st place in cross. In the aggregate, of points in all tests our athlete became the absolute champion in his age group.
