It was organized according to the Action Plan for teaching faculty on effective teaching technologies and competencies in the direction of "Researcher."

The Center for the Transfer of Educational Technologies organized it in two streams - in October and November, in addition, this seminar is planned to be held in December by the third stream.

Seminars were conducted by experienced teachers, such as the head of the department Zhanat Abdikadyr, associate professor Ulzhalgas Zhunisova, senior teachers Zhanylsyn Sultanova and Elvira Jaulybaeva. The speakers revealed the capabilities of the designer of simple and complex tables in SPSS Statistics, advanced methods of analysis in the program.

The main objective of this seminar is to gain practical skills in working with data and conducting statistical analysis using popular MS Excel and SPSS Statistics tools. During the training, all the features of the IBM SPSS Statistics program, an analytical package for data analysis and presentation of analysis results in the form of tables and graphs - were fully mastered.

It allowed teachers to validate their research results with statistical methods and to manipulate data to prepare them for statistical analysis, as well as to perform operations on SPSS data files. This made it possible to analyze the relationship between variables using statistical tests, to make comparisons between samples, and to apply various methods of analysis to study relationships.

At the end of the seminar, all participants successfully passed the final exam and received certificates of completion of training.
