In order to conduct the 1st (intra-university) stage of the Republican annual competition of students' research works in natural, technical, socio-humanitarian and economic sciences in higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Astana Medical University" NpJSC organizes a competition of students' research works.
The main objectives of the Republican annual R&D Competition are to stimulate research and educational and cognitive activities of students, to select and support the most talented and gifted students and to promote the formation of the intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Republican R & D competition is held in 3 stages:
1) the first stage - intra-university;
2) the second stage - in basic universities;
3) the third (final) stage - republican.
Students and student collectives of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan can take part in the R&D competition. To participate in the students' research works competition, you must provide the following documents:
1) scientific work;
2) annotation of scientific work;
3) review of the supervisor on the degree of independence of the work performed (in any form);
4) information about the author(s) and scientific supervisor.
The first copies of students' scientific papers, printed at one and a half intervals, are submitted to the R&D competition. The amount of work should not exceed 20 – 40 pages. Presentation of models and natural exhibits is not allowed. The drawings and illustrations attached to the work should be arranged on standard-sized sheets. The scientific work may be accompanied by acts (copies of acts) on the implementation of the results of scientific work, copies of patents, scientific articles. Theses, term papers and projects may be submitted to the competition if they contain scientific novelty or provide for the implementation of their results in production or in the educational process.
The winners of the republican competition for the best research work of students, who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, are awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of I, II, III degrees. Upon admission to the Master's program, the achievements of the students-laureates awarded with diplomas of the competition are taken into account by the admissions committees.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from December 01,2023 to February 01, 2024 inclusive.
The results of the competition will be announced on the university's website on March 01, 2024.
