From 19 to 21 December, an external expert commission of the "Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Education and Healthcare" - ECAQA - visited NJSC "Astana Medical University" to conduct primary international accreditation of two residency-training programs: 7R01150 "Pathological Anatomy" and 7R01108 "Nuclear Medicine", as well as the institutional international accreditation of the University's Simulation center.

The Chairman of the external expert commission was A.M. Kurmanova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Clinical Specialties of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Graduate School of Medicine, leading researcher of the JSC «Scientific Centre of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology».

The Commission was represented as a foreign expert by Zulfiya Abdullovna Zaripova, M.D., Head of the Center for Attestation and Accreditation of the Pavlov First State Medical University of St. Petersburg

Representatives of employers and students of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University participated in the accreditation as part of the group of national experts. S.D. Asfendiyarov", NJSC "Semey Medical University", Training and Simulation Centre of the City Emergency Medical Aid Station of Astana Akimat, Postgraduate Education Centre of JSC "Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology", NJSC "National Centre for Children's Rehabilitation", LLP "National Scientific Oncology Centre".

During the accreditation process, the experts conducted a comprehensive assessment of the compliance of the activities of the declared subjects, met with the teaching staff, students, graduates and partners of educational programs, visited practical classes, Simulation Centre and clinical facilities of NJSC "AMU".
