In our university held a two-day cricket competition with the participation of about 60 foreign students from India and Pakistan.

Cricket is a team game, not very popular in Kazakhstan, but quite famous in many countries around the world. We met our foreign friends and organized a competition in their favorite game. The event was dedicated to the International Day against Drug Addiction and Drug Trafficking. Thus, sport is always the best alternative to unhealthy habits. The competition was extremely interesting and impressive. The foreign students play cricket as professional players, that is why none of the teams wanted to concede to their opponents. As a result, the first place was taken by the “Kashmir FC” team, which consisting of the most talented students in cricket. Their preparation and ability of performing as a team brought them a victory.

The second place was taken by the “Crease Hunters” team, which demonstrated a high level of technique and strength. Their tenacity to leadership deserve the most sincere praise.

The third place was awarded to the “Old Hostel” team, which also showed excellent skills and good performance. The fans are grateful to all the participants of the competition for getting acquainted with this interesting game that was full of their enthusiasm, team spirit and excellent mood on the field.

The event was important from the point of view of promoting a healthy lifestyle, fighting drugs and encouraging all students to be active.
