By the decision of the Accreditation Council of the Eurasian Сentre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Healthcare, recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education, five educational programs at Astana Medical University, namely the Bachelor's programs (6B10123 Medicine, 6B10124 Dentistry, 6B10125 Pediatrics, 6B10126 Medical and Preventive Care) and the residency program (7R01120 Neurosurgery (Adult, Pediatric)) have obtained international specialized accreditation for 5 years starting June 26, 2024.

International accreditation is an important step for our university, confirming the University's commitment to high-quality education and continuous improvement. This indicates that our programs meet the high standards set in the educational community and provide students with the highest-level academic training.

Earlier this April, our University also successfully passed the process of international institutional accreditation for 5 years and international specialized accreditation of Bachelor's degree programs 6B10104 Pharmacy and 6B10119 Public Health/6B10109 Public Health, as well as Master's degree programs 7M10102 Medicine and 7M10124 Global Health.

The Eurasian Сentre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Healthcare (ECAQA) is one of the leading international accreditation agencies for quality assurance of education. ECAQA is a member of the European Quality Assurance Registry (EQAR), the Asia-Pacific Quality Assurance Network (APQN) and is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).

The ECAQA accreditation standards, based on the international ESG and WFME standards confirm that AMU Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company demonstrates its ability to comply with international educational standards.
