From 26 to 30 August 2024 based on the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care №1 NAO ‘Medical University of Astana’ was held a course of lectures ‘Selected issues of anaesthesiology and intensive care in traumatology and orthopaedics’ by the invited professor Ovechkin Alexei Mikhailovich. Alexey Mikhailovich is a Doctor of Medical Sciences a professor of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Reanimatology of the First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Also on 29 August 2024, within the framework of the IV Congress of Traumatologists-Orthopedists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the III Congress of the Kazakhstan Association of Traumatologists-Orthopedists based on NSCTO named after Academician N.D. Batpenov, the professor held a master class on regional anaesthesia.

The conference was attended by 74 participants – residents, anaesthesiologists and resuscitators from city hospitals, and anaesthesiology and resuscitation specialists from nearby cities (Karaganda, Pavlodar, Kokshetau).

The event organiser within the IV Congress framework was the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care №1 of NJSC ‘Medical University of Astana’ headed by Professor Konkayev Aidos Kabibulatovich.

At the end of the event, the conference participants were encouraged with certificates of participation.
