On August 20, 2024 by the Order of the Republican State Enterprise on the right of economic management “National Accreditation Center” of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Testing Laboratory of Radiochemistry and Radiospectrometry of the Research Institute of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection, the “Astana Medical University” NCJSC was accredited for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025- 2019 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”.
Testing laboratory of radiochemistry and radio spectrometry of the Institute of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection, the “Astana Medical University” NCJSC once again for 5 years confirmed its competence, which gives the opportunity to Institute of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection:
To carry out training of personnel on postgraduate education with awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and doctor on profile in the fields: “Health” and “Natural Sciences”, on specialties 8D05101 “Biology” and 8D10102 “Medicine”, according to “Qualification requirements for the educational activities of organizations providing higher and (or) postgraduate education, and the list of documents confirming compliance with them” Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 5, 2024 № 4.
1. To provide paid services according to the field of accreditation on the objects of research population and personnel working with man-made radiation sources, protective equipment and materials in medicine, used in X-ray diagnostics, quality control of X-ray diagnostic equipment, environment, air of the working zone, construction materials, scrap metal.
2. To participate in competitions of scientific, scientific-technical projects and programs of grant and program-targeted financing, projects of commercialization of results of scientific and (or) scientific-technical activity from JSC “Science Fund”.
