On October 2, 2024, the Center for Social and Educational Work organized a meeting of 1st year students with representatives of the Astana City Police Department on the topic “Basic methods and methods of Internet fraud” and “Negative impact and consequences of the actions of Droppers.” The speakers of the meeting were operational officers of the criminal police department of the Astana Police Department Konysbek A. and Kushenov B.

The speakers told the students about modern methods of Internet fraud, about malicious mobile applications, by installing which you can lose all the money on your bank cards, about dangerous Internet links, by clicking on which you can easily open access to your personal data, having taken possession of which fraudsters can easily register remote credit.

The meeting was very interesting; students actively participated in the discussion and asked questions to the speakers.
