This weekend, September 28-29, 2024, on the basis of Nazarbayev University Innovation Cluster (NURIS) together with Sustainable Innovation and Technology Foundation (SITF) with the support of Nazarbayev University Social Development Fund held Founders` Weekend event aimed at commercialization of research projects and Deeptech-startups competition.
There were two participants from our university. Aliya Smagulova, head of the Internal disease department with geriatric course, presented their projects “Safe Pregnant”. Alieva Nazim (CEO) and Shaihov Madiyar (Co-founder), students of 403 group of Pharmacy, presented the project “GTrack”. Safe Pregnant” project is aimed at preparation and maintenance of healthy pregnancy, early detection of diseases and determination of management in pregnant. The developers of the startup “GTrack” offer a non-invasive glucometer for continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels for patients with diabetes.
Our representatives successfully presented their projects and business models to the competition jury, and were given valuable recommendations for improvement and necessary revision. Participation in this training, receiving personal consultations from leading experts in the field of technology and innovation, networking with participants from different industries undoubtedly has a fruitful impact on the development and maintenance of the image of our University.
