The Healthy Lifestyle Center at the E.D. Dalenov Research Institute of Preventive Medicine has successfully launched a large-scale information campaign aimed at raising awareness among Astana residents about the importance of disease prevention and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
As part of this campaign, educational information has been placed on more than 10 billboards and city boards along the city’s main roads. These advertisements are displayed 24/7 for 30 days, ensuring consistent attention to key health issues.
Additionally, videos developed and recommended by the Institute's experts are broadcast on LED and SMART screens in public areas, ensuring scientific validity and relevance.
The themes covered in the informational materials and videos include:
- Prevention of Infectious Diseases: tuberculosis, ARVI, viral hepatitis, acute intestinal infections (AII), vaccination, HIV, AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases: oncology, circulatory system diseases, diabetes, bronchial asthma.
- Prevention of Behavioral Risk Factors: reducing the use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs.
- Promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle: physical activity and healthy nutrition.
- Reproductive Health Protection: family planning and breastfeeding.
The videos are prepared in both Kazakh and Russian, making scientifically validated information accessible to a broad audience.
