At the next meeting of the Department of Internal Medicine with a course of nephrology, hematology, allergology, and immunology, a ceremony was held to honor Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Serik Amangeldinovich Baidurin in connection with the awarding of the “Medal Kurmet".

      On the eve of the Republic Day, Astana hosted a ceremonial event "Mangi zhasa, tugan elim – Kazakstanim" dedicated to honoring doctors and public health figures. By the Decree of the President from October 16, 2024, the head of the Department of Internal Medicine, MD, Professor S. Baidurin was awarded the "Medal Kurmet".

     Serik Amangeldinovich is a well-known hematologist, gastroenterologist, rheumatologist, therapist, teacher, and talented scientist whose research in the field of internal medicine has made a significant contribution to the development of homeland medicine. Over the years of his work, he has become a mentor for young specialists and has trained and grown up more than one pleiad of doctors, sharing his knowledge and experience to them.

    The celebration began with warm words from colleagues, students, and residents, who noted not only Serik Amangeldinovich's professionalism, but also his humanity, kindness, and willingness to help anyone who needs support. Colleagues shared their memories, important moments from Serik Amangeldinovich's career, and expressed their wishes with great pride. This event became a symbol of the unity and cohesion of the team, as well as a reminder of how important it is to appreciate and celebrate the achievements of the department's old stagers.
