From November 18 to 22, 2024, as part of the academic mobility program of the teaching staff, the Department of Public Health and Healthcare of the NpJSC «West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University» was visited by Professor of the Department of Public Health and Management of the NpJSC «Astana Medical University» Sarymsakova Bakhyt Yerekeshevna.

During her visit, Bakhyt Yerekeshevna conducted a course of lectures for 4th-year students of the specialty "Public Health" in the disciplines "Health promotion and disease prevention - 2" and "Formation of healthy lifestyle and organization of the work of the AIDS Control Center". The main objectives of the lectures were the exchange of experience, the development of professional competencies, the strengthening of interuniversity cooperation, as well as the transfer of knowledge about modern approaches to scientific research and analytics in the field of healthcare.

The 4th year students showed an active interest in the material, participated in discussions and asked questions, which contributed to deepening their knowledge and improving their professional level in the field of public health management. The lectures corresponded to the high standards of academic mobility established by the NAO "West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov".

Special thanks are expressed to the head of the Department of Public Health and Public Health of the NpJSC «West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University», PhD, Associate Professor Ermukhanova Lyudmila Sergeevna, as well as the teaching staff of the department for their active assistance in organizing events.
