From December 12 to 13, 2024, the Astana Medical University hosted a visit by the External Expert Commission (EEC) of ECAQA the Eurasian Center for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in High Education and Health Care
The purpose of the visit to the EEC was to conduct primary specialized accreditation, as well as international accreditation for three master's degree programs 7M10131 Gerontology, 7M10128 Biological Safety and 7M10127 EMBA "Hospital Management".
The chairman of the External Expert Commission was Dr. PhD, senior lecturer, head teacher of the Department of Public Health of the NjSc "Semey Medical University", Serikova-Esengeldina Dinara Serikovna.
Natalia Viktorovna Isaeva, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Public Health and Public Health with a law course at the «Perm State Medical University named after Academician E.A. Wagner» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation was represented as a foreign expert in the commission.
As part of the group of national experts the following academic experts participated in the accreditation: Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate Professor, geriatrician of the highest category, Professor of the Department of General Medical Practice of the NjSc "Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarova" Eshmanova Ainur Kairkenovna, Candidate of Medical Sciences, doctor of the highest category, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology of the NjSC "Semey Medical University" Maukaeva Saule Boranbaevna, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the Testing Laboratory of the « Астана су арнасы» State Enterprise, Independent expert of the Public Association "Federation of Laboratory Medicine", expert auditor on product certification Aushakhmetova Zabira Tezekbayevna, as well as a representative of the students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian University Arkhatova Gauhar.
Within two days, the Expert Commission assessed the compliance of educational services of the above-mentioned educational institutions with established international standards (regulations) of accreditation, met with the teaching staff of departments, students, graduates and employers of educational programs, visited the clinical bases of the NjSC "AMU" (Hospital of the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for Active Longevity - Research Institute of Preventive Nutrition and Nutritionology named after Academician E.D.Dalenov, Abduldayeva Aigul Abduldaevna, Bukeeva Zhanar Kanalbaevna, Multidisciplinary Medical Center «Alanda clinic» - Department of Public Health and Management, Turgambayeva Asiya Kairbayevna), visited the Departments of Public Health and Epidemiology, Public Health and Hygiene, Institute of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection
