Faculty members of the Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Information Technologies are actively enhancing their qualifications by participating in a specialized 6-7 month course titled "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence: Basic Course." This program is organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in partnership with Astana Hub and the educational platform Big Dream Lab School.
The course includes both theoretical and practical sessions covering key concepts and tools of artificial intelligence, such as machine learning, data processing, big data analysis, and the basics of Python programming. Participants gain expertise in modern technologies applicable to biostatistical data analysis, bioinformatics model development, and the implementation of innovative IT solutions in healthcare and science.
This training enhances the faculty's competencies, enabling them to integrate elements of artificial intelligence into the educational process and scientific research, as well as develop interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of biostatistics, bioinformatics, and IT.
