As part of academic mobility, at the invitation of the Medical University of Dushanbe, from December 17 to December 23, 2024, the Head of the Department of General Medical Practice with a course of Evidence-Based Medicine, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor G.A. Derbissalina, Associate Researcher of the Department, PhD A.T. Umbetzhanova, and Department Assistant, Master of Medicine N.S. Zemlyanskaya, visited the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan).  The department staff conducted a seminar on research methodology for the university’s faculty, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates. During the visit, our faculty members met with the university’s rector, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Gulzoda Makhmadshoh Kurbonali, who expressed satisfaction with the work carried out and hope for further collaboration between the universities of Astana and Dushanbe within the framework of the existing memorandum. This includes opportunities for academic mobility of faculty and students, as well as the organization of joint conferences.
