On January 22, 2025, an inspiring motivational meeting was held at Astana Medical University for students of the 1st and 2nd courses of the educational program "Kinesitherapy" and "Ergotherapy".
The speakers at the meeting were: Bidatova Gulzia Kairbayevna - healthcare expert, PhD, Head of the Center for Program and project management in the field of healthcare and social protection of the Public Foundation "Kazakhstan Khalkyna", Professor of the Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of the NJSC "AMU", Slivkina Natalia Vladimirovna – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Burumbayeva Raykhan Kaidarovna – psychologist, neuropsychologist, ergotherapist, senior lecturer at the Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Tashimova Dinara Gosmanovna – A graduate of the NJSC "AMU" under the program "Ergotherapy", he is an ergotherapist at the National Center for Pediatric Rehabilitation. The purpose of the speakers was to tell in more detail about the programs, about the role of kinesitherapists and ergotherapist in rehabilitation and the healthcare system, about legal aspects, and to answer students' questions.
Students in these shortened programs working in the field of rehabilitation science also took part in the online event, who also shared their experiences, successes and professional advice.
Everyone talked about their path in the profession, about the difficulties and how they managed to overcome them. The meeting was a great opportunity for students to ask questions, receive valuable recommendations, and recharge their motivation for further study and professional growth.
