Fr om February 1 to 2, the VI Republican theoretical and practical Olympiad "Meduse" was held in Karaganda, bringing together six teams fr om the leading medical universities of Kazakhstan. In a tough fight, the first place was won by representatives of KazMSA - a student organization of Astana Medical University.

The Olympiad, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Karaganda Medical University, included two key stages:

Theoretical stage - was held in the Medical QuizPlease format, and consisted of seven rounds, wh ere participants demonstrated fundamental knowledge, clinical thinking, as well as erudition in the field of history of medicine and related disciplines.

Practical stage - included 10 stations of OSCE (objective structured clinical exam), wh ere students practiced emergency care skills in various clinical scenarios based on the simulation center.
