Dear applicants for the PhD Doctoral Program!
From February 3, 2025, to April 11, 2025, the admission of documents for Pre-selection for enrollment in the following PhD educational programs will begin:
• 8D10101 "Nursing Science";
• 8D10102 "Medicine";
• 8D10103 "Public Health";
• 8D10104 "Pharmacy".
Those planning to apply for the PhD Doctoral Program in 2025 must submit the following documents to the University Admission Committee by April 11, 2025 (in person or as scanned copies to the email pk.doktorantura@amu.kz).
Documents for participation in the pre-selection:

Application addressed to the head of the organization (application);

Copy of the identification document;
-
Copy of the document confirming the completion of residency or master's program (for those who have completed residency or master's);

Certificate of enrollment in residency or master's program (for those currently enrolled);

Resume (personal data, work experience, education, skills, completed courses, seminars, project participation, foreign language proficiency);
-
Document confirming employment, certified by the HR department at the place of work (minimum 9 months of work experience for those who have completed a master's program);

International certificate confirming proficiency in a foreign language according to European competence standards (if available; if not, it must be provided at the second stage of document submission);

Official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issued by the National Testing Center (if available; if not, it must be provided at the second stage of document submission);

Essay on the choice of specialty in Kazakh or Russian (no more than 2 A4 pages) (essay);

Dissertation abstract in Kazakh or Russian (abstract);

List of scientific and scientific-methodological works (scientific publications) for the last 3 calendar years (if available) (list of scientific works);

Certificates of scientific developments; certificates for awarding scientific scholarships; grants; certificates/diplomas for participation in scientific conferences and competitions, etc. (if available).
When submitting the full set of documents, the applicant will be given a receipt confirming the acceptance of documents. For online submission, the applicant must call the admission committee at 8-778-357-94-57 or 8-778-985-30-95 to confirm the receipt of documents, and the receipt will be sent to the applicant’s email. Incomplete documents will not be considered, and the application will not be processed. Applicants who have submitted applications for the first stage of admission to the PhD Doctoral Program will present their dissertation abstract in a presentation at the Pre-selection Commission for PhD doctoral programs (presentation duration is 10-15 minutes). The Commission meeting will take place from April 7, 2025, to April 15, 2025. Based on the results of the pre-selection, a decision will be made regarding the applicant's admission or non-admission to the second stage of the admission process. The decision will be posted on the University website the day after the Commission meeting. There will be no appeal for the results of the Pre-selection.
