Assistant of the Department of Nursing at Astana Medical University, Gani Bazarkbekuly Uakqazy, has successfully completed clinical training in therapeutic physical exercise for neurorehabilitation using the Rock Steady Boxing method. This technique is designed for patients with Parkinson’s disease and aims to improve their physical condition and quality of life.
The training took place from June 25 to July 4, 2024, at AZS-AWF Sports Club in Warsaw, which is part of the global network of the non-profit organization Rock Steady Boxing Inc.
The program was led by Wojciech Wiertel, a Master Class Kickboxing Coach, Level II Boxing Coach, Krav Maga Instructor (G1 Level), and Certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach. During the internship, Gani Bazarkbekuly Uakqazy participated in consultation and training sessions aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of neurorehabilitation for patients.
This internship became a key stage in the preparation of Gani Bazarkbekuly Uakqazy’s PhD dissertation and is directly related to his scientific research. The knowledge and practical experience gained will be applied in further studies and work in the fields of therapeutic physical exercise and neurorehabilitation.
