Astana Medical University trains highly qualified specialists in the healthcare sector, placing special emphasis on their demand in the job market. One of the university's key priorities is assisting graduates in finding employment.

Each year, the university produces more than 1,500 specialists at various levels of education, including bachelor’s, internship, residency, master’s, and doctoral programs. In 2025, 1,935 graduates are expected to complete their studies. Over the past 60 years, the university has trained more than 30,000 specialists, who now work across the country.

On February 28, 2025, the university hosted a meeting between graduates and representatives of healthcare administrations and medical organizations. The event was opened by Mereuert Gazaliyeva, Vice-Rector of Astana Medical University. A welcoming speech was also delivered by Yerkebulan Bayazitov, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Human Resources of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The discussion was attended by leaders of medical organizations from Astana, Akmola, Pavlodar, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Karaganda, Ulytau, Mangystau, Turkestan, Zhambyl, and North Kazakhstan regions, as well as representatives of the Medical Center Hospital of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Zhemchuzhina Stomed Group of Companies, the ALPHAMED pharmacy network, and private clinics.

During the meeting, graduates learned about available job opportunities, working conditions, career prospects, and social benefits, including signing bonuses, housing, and salary supplements. Events like this help young specialists choose their place of employment, adapt to their profession, and successfully begin their careers in healthcare.
