Astana Medical University hosted a grand celebration of Nauryz—an ancient festival of spring, renewal, and unity. On this day, the university campus was filled with an atmosphere of joy, national heritage, and friendly gatherings.
The centerpiece of the celebration was a large cauldron of aromatic pilaf, cooked outdoors. Every guest had the opportunity to enjoy this dish, symbolizing prosperity and well-being. Nearby, a beautifully decorated yurt was set up—a true representation of Kazakh culture. Visitors could step inside to admire the traditional interior, experience the warmth of hospitality, and taste authentic national cuisine.
The event continued with exciting sports competitions. In the university’s sports hall, participants competed in arm wrestling, tug-of-war, and other contests, allowing students and faculty to showcase their strength, endurance, and team spirit.
A vibrant concert program, prepared by students, became a true highlight of the celebration. The hall resounded with songs in Kazakh, Indian, and other languages, while performers delighted the audience with energetic dances and music played on national instruments. The creative performances filled the audience with positive emotions and the joyful spirit of spring.
