A chess competition among medical organizations took place in Astana. The winners were the employees of Astana Medical University, who demonstrated a high level of skill and strategic thinking.

Representing our university were:

·                 Azamat Ulkhanov – Assistant of the Department of Internal Diseases with courses in Nephrology, Allergology, and Immunology;

·                 Bakhtiyar Serik – Associate Researcher of the Department of Public Health and Hygiene;

·                 Aibarshа Eseyeva – Senior Lecturer at the Research Institute of Preventive Medicine named after Academician E. Dalenov.

The tournament was organized by the branch of the Kazakhstan Health Workers Union “Akniyet”. A total of 22 teams, consisting of 66 participants, took part in the competition.

“Chess, like medicine, requires precision, patience, and the ability to plan steps ahead. We are proud to represent Astana Medical University and win first place. Huge thanks to the tournament organizers – everything was at the highest level!” – said participant Aibarshe Eseyeva.

You are not only outstanding doctors and mentors for students, but also individuals with brilliant analytical minds, as evidenced by your victory in this tournament.

Chess is a game of strategy, logic, and patience, much like medicine, where every step matters. By your example, you show that the ability to analyze and make precise decisions is important not only in the medical profession but also in life.

Each of you is a talented professional whose work and dedication shape the new generation of doctors. The profession of a doctor is not easy, but your example proves that the pursuit of knowledge, self-discipline, and continuous development bring outstanding results.
