Astana Medical University invites you to take part in the international scientific and practical conference on urology, which will be held on May 5-6, 2025. The key feature of the event will be a unique hybrid format combining live surgery and a panel discussion. You will have the opportunity to watch the most complex operations in real time, which will be broadcast on the university's YouTube channel. Recognized masters of their craft will demonstrate advanced surgical techniques, and experts will discuss current issues and the latest achievements in the field of urology during the panel discussion.
Among the invited foreign speakers will be:
• Guohua Zeng - Co-President of the International Urolithiasis Alliance (IAU), h-index – 44.
• Di Gu - Deputy Director of the Urology Department of Guangzhou Medical University Hospital, member of the Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, specialist in robotic surgery, h-index – 11.
• Wei Zhu - Associate Professor of Guangzhou Medical University Hospital, specializing in the treatment of urolithiasis.
The conference will include the signing of a cooperation agreement between Astana Medical University and Guangzhou Medical University. This landmark event will open up new prospects for MMU students, providing an opportunity to undergo international internships at one of the leading medical universities in China.
In addition, Guangzhou Medical University will make a valuable gift to the MMU Simulation Center, transferring equipment for practicing the skills of " Pelvicaliceal system puncture under ultrasound control on training box model" and “Flexible ureteropyeloscopyon training box model".
