The 30th Anniversary Youth Entrepreneurship Cup – Enactus Kazakhstan National Expo 2025, the annual national exhibition of the best student projects under the international Enactus program, was held at the Palace of Independence.
Following two days of outstanding presentations, the university's team secured first place among 15 teams, earning the right to represent the Republic of Kazakhstan at the global level.
“In September of this year, we will have the opportunity to present our project «ZhanCare» at the Enactus World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand. This is a great achievement for us”, - said team captain Adilkhan Musulmanbekov.
The Enactus team at Astana Medical University was established in October 2017 and has consistently won grants for the implementation of its projects, regularly placing among the top teams at the Enactus National Expo.
In 2024, the Enactus team of Astana Medical University was recognized as the best student organization. The team’s slogan, “It’s all for a reason” reflects their belief that every effort, project, and decision has meaningful impact.
“We are committed to making a contribution to society, improving people’s lives, and driving positive change, regardless of the challenges we face. This motivates us to believe in the significance of our work”, - added the team captain.
The international Enactus program has been fostering student entrepreneurship in 35 countries for 50 years. Each year, 1,800 universities and over 72,000 participants take part. To date, more than 4,000 projects have been implemented under the Enactus framework.
ENACTUS is not just a competition—it is a global platform for like-minded individuals united by a shared goal of transforming society through entrepreneurship and sustainable development. This year, more than 30,000 young innovators and leaders from across the country participated. A total of 230 applications were submitted, with 189 teams and dozens of projects that are already effecting real change, demonstrating that Enactus is a global movement with meaningful social impact.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enactus Kazakhstan Raimbek Batalov, and President of Enactus Kazakhstan Albina Erzhanova.
