On May 5–6, as part of World Asthma Day, the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company «Astana Medical University», in cooperation with the RPA «National Society of Respiratory Medicine», the RPA «Kazakhstan Association of Young Leaders», and with the support of the Astana Public Health Department, will organize Asthma Days for patients suffering from asthma and healthcare professionals.

Over the course of two days, consultations for patients and educational seminars for physicians on asthma diagnosis and treatment will be held at eight city polyclinics (№1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10).

Patient consultations will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

From 12:00 PM, educational seminars are scheduled for polyclinic physicians.

Pulmonology residents of Astana Medical University will take an active part in conducting informational sessions with patients under the supervision of the Research Institute of Respiratory Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine with courses in Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Pulmonology.

Educational work among physicians will be carried out by experienced pulmonologists, professors, and associate professors, including: B.A. Aynabekova (MD, Professor), N.A. Latypova (MD), K.A. Garkalov (PhD in Medicine), and S.V. Trofimova (PhD in Medicine).
