Event: From June 9 to 13, 2025, Astana Medical University will host a series of lectures and workshops featuring an international expert as part of the academic mobility program — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander Vladimirovich Svidzinsky, Director of the Molecular Genetic Laboratory of Polymicrobial Infections and Biofilms (Berlin, Germany).

Speaker: Alexander Svidzinsky is a professor at the Department of General Hygiene of the F.F. Erisman Institute of Public Health at Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, and Director of the Molecular Genetic Laboratory at Humboldt University in Berlin. He has extensive international experience in the field of molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases, biofilms, and women’s reproductive health.

As part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Program of Continuous Integrated Medical Education (CIME), the event will include discussions on the introduction of the innovative method: GiNam – Ribosomal Gene 16/23S Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization, for the diagnosis of gynecological diseases in Kazakhstan.

Course Objectives:
