The annual National congress of students and young dentists was held in Almaty, organized by the S.D. Asfendiyarov Medical University in cooperation with the Association of dental students of Kazakhstan (DAS.KZ). The event included lectures, masterclasses, academic competitions, live discussions, and the analysis of complex clinical cases.

As part of the congress, Meruert Tukенova, a 5th-year student of the “Dentistry” educational program at our university, participated in the Olympiad in the discipline of “Orthodontics”. Following a successful performance among 12 participants, she was awarded a First Degree Diploma. This achievement is the result of her hard work and the support of the Dean of the School of Dentistry, V.R. Detochkina.
