On June 3, 2025, Astana Medical University hosted a solemn graduation ceremony for 225 international graduates. This event marked a special milestone for fifth-year students — future physicians who have completed an important stage of their professional journey.
The event opened with a video highlighting university life, reminding everyone of the vibrant student experience, academic achievements, and shared victories. The Rector of Astana Medical University Anar Turmukhambetova delivered a farewell address to the graduates:
"Becoming a doctor is a choice that deserves the utmost respect. It is a path of service, compassion, professionalism, and lifelong learning. I am confident that you will carry the knowledge gained here with pride and dignity, and use it for the benefit of others wherever you go. Thank you for choosing our university, for your dedication, friendship, and your contribution to our shared home".
Following her remarks, the Rector awarded special diplomas to graduates who had distinguished themselves through academic excellence and active participation in university life.
The ceremony continued with speeches fr om Vice-Rector Vitaliy Koikov, school deans, faculty members, and department heads who had accompanied the students throughout their education. On this day, they handed over the well-earned diplomas as a symbol of years of joint effort.
The celebration featured vibrant dance performances and poetic recitations that created a warm and festive atmosphere. A touching moment was a congratulatory video from the graduates’ families, followed by a heartfelt response from the graduates, who expressed gratitude to their instructors for their support, knowledge, and patience.
