Students of Astana Medical University completed a professional internship in the discipline “Quality Control and Standardization of Medicines” at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov in Almaty. The internship was conducted within the framework of academic mobility and involved 27 students.

Over the course of two intensive weeks, participants immersed themselves in a real scientific and production environment. Under the guidance of leading specialists, they not only reinforced the theoretical knowledge acquired at their home university but also broadened their professional horizons in the field of pharmaceutical control.

The program included master classes, laboratory research, and meetings with scientists and practitioners. Of particular importance were the sessions led by Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Asyl Boshkayeva, whose lectures and workshops served as a significant milestone in the students’ professional development.

In addition to the academic component, the participants became acquainted with the infrastructure of one of the oldest medical universities in the country and had the opportunity to observe the operation of modern research and production facilities firsthand.

The internship served as a valuable educational experience and further strengthened the cooperation between leading medical universities in Kazakhstan, contributing to the training of qualified pharmaceutical professionals.
