Fifteen students of Astana Medical University completed their professional internship at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. The internship was held as part of the academic mobility program and covered the disciplines “Industrial Drug Technology” and “Pharmacognosy”.

The internship program was aimed at deepening theoretical knowledge and developing applied skills in a real pharmaceutical environment. The students became acquainted with natural sources of medicinal plant raw materials by visiting botanical sites and mountainous regions, and they also studied industrial production and modern technologies for the synthesis and analysis of medicinal products at leading pharmaceutical enterprises in Uzbekistan.

Immersion in the practice-oriented educational environment of a foreign university allowed the students to broaden their professional outlook, strengthen applied competencies, and gain insights into the pharmaceutical industry in an international context.

The professional internship in Tashkent marked an important stage in the training of future pharmacists and a significant step in strengthening cooperation between specialized educational institutions in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
