Astana Medical University first entered the Times Higher Education Impact 2025 world ranking, taking the position of 1501 +. The Impact rating assesses the contribution of universities to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) approved by the United Nations. As part of participation in the ranking, the university presented data on four key goals and took positions in certain categories:
SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being:
- 401-600 position
SDG 16 - Peace, justice and strong institutions
- 601-800 position
SDG 8 - Decent work and economic growth
- 1001 + position
SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals / Strengthening of means of implementation and activization of work within Global partnership in the interests of sustainable development
- 1001 = 1500 position
Entering this rating confirms the university's desire for quality education, social responsibility and international recognition. This achievement opens up new opportunities for development, strengthening partnerships and increasing competitiveness at the global level. Astana Medical University will continue systematic work to improve indicators and create a safe, modern educational environment.
